Thursday 7 December 2023 Y4 Violin Showcase It has been a week of music. The children of Year 4 put on a truly spectacular showcase this week of their violin playing skills. Over the course of the Autumn Term, the children have gone from learning how to holding a violin to learning to play via plucking and using the bow. The standard shown was nothing but exemplary. We thank Mrs Croton and Miss Bhattacharcya for enabling this to happen. The children have been truly inspired and for many the violin lessons have been a highlight of their week. Friday 22 September 2023 MacMilan Coffee Morning The Merryhills PA hosted a MacMillan Coffee morning here at Merryhills. This is an incredible charity which supports so many families and we are delighted to have supported this event. The community came together to eat cake and drink tea. It was also a lovely opportunity for our new parents to get to know our wider school community.
