• Friday 21 June 2024 Attigo Choir Concert What an amazing concert last night! It was lovely to see the children perform in front of a live band and with children across the trust.

• Tuesday 9 January 2024 Y2 Great Fire of London Year 2 had an incredible time at our Great Fire of London workshop.

• Friday 15 December 2023 Reception Festive Sing-a-Long Reception sang some festive songs to their parents to end the Autumn Term.
• Friday 15 December 2023 Year 3 Forty Hall Visit Year 3 ventured to Forty Hall as part of their Local History topic.
• Thursday 14 December 2023 Reception visit to St Mary Magdalene Reception travelled on a bus to visit the local church.
• Wednesday 13 December 2023 Year 5 Carol Concert Year 5 sang beautifully at St Mary Magdalene's Church
• Tuesday 12 December 2023 Year 1 Nativity The children twinkled on the stage for their retelling of the Nativity Story.
• Thursday 7 December 2023 Y4 Violin Showcase It has been a week of music. The children of Year 4 put on a truly spectacular showcase this week of their violin playing skills. Over the course of the Autumn Term, the children have gone from learning how to holding a violin to learning to play via plucking and using the bow. The standard shown was nothing but exemplary. We thank Mrs Croton and Miss Bhattacharcya for enabling this to happen. The children have been truly inspired and for many the violin lessons have been a highlight of their week. • Thursday 7 December 2023 Winter Jumper Day Children looked very festive in their winter/ christmas jumpers to raise money for Save the Children.
• Friday 1 December 2023 Winter Festival The PA organised a spectacular Winter Festival for the families at Merryhills to enjoy.
• Thursday 30 November 2023 Keeping Safe with the Metropolitan Police Local police come and talk to Year 5 and 6 about keeping themselves safe.
• Tuesday 21 November 2023 Choir Club Festival Merryhills Choir took part in Enfield Music Service Choirs Festival at St Andrew's Church.
• Monday 20 November 2023 Y4 - The Barbican Year 4 went to the Barbican to experience a concert curated by Binid McFarlane and Kuljit Bhamra.
• Monday 20 November 2023 Junior Travel Ambassadors November has been a busy month for our new Junior Travel Ambassadors who have been formed from our Merryhills parliament children.
• Friday 17 November 2023 Children in Need The children took part in their very own 'Bearpee' challenge to raise money for Children in Need, raising over £600 for this special cause.
• Thursday 16 November 2023 Anti-Bullying Week 2023 The theme this year for anti-bullying week was: Make a Noise About Bullying. The children had assemblies about bullying and took part in class discussions.
• Friday 3 November 2023 Y6: Westminster Abbey Year 6 enjoyed their trip to Westminster Abbey, visiting tombs of various Monarchs and getting in role ready for their writing in class.
• Monday 16 October 2023 Merryhills School Parliament The votes are in! Our new Merryhills School Parliament has been chosen.
• Friday 22 September 2023 MacMilan Coffee Morning The Merryhills PA hosted a MacMillan Coffee morning here at Merryhills. This is an incredible charity which supports so many families and we are delighted to have supported this event. The community came together to eat cake and drink tea. It was also a lovely opportunity for our new parents to get to know our wider school community.
