Merryhills in 1940

I would like to extend our huge thanks to Ken, who was a pupil in the very first Merryhills cohort in 1940.  Ken had a tour of the school and then met Year 6 to talk to them all about the school’s history, how it managed World War 2 and his experiences at Merryhills.  Year 6 loved meeting and listening to Ken as well as asking him questions. We were all fascinated by the stories he told.
