Wider Curriculum & Personal Development
School is more just words on a page or numbers in a book. Learning should be purposeful; about real life and preparing children for the future.
Beyond the academics, we want children to make a difference to their peers, their school, the local community and the wider world. We want our children to take responsibility as global citizens and recognise that they have the power to make a difference.
We aim for children to be physically and mentally healthy individuals who are able to navigate the many moral, social and cultural issues that may arise as part of growing up. We know that children learn best when they feel safe and valued so ensure we provide opportunities that allow them to grow as individuals.
By providing opportunities, beyond the curriculum, through varied and rich experiences, children will learn to appreciate what it means to be a part of a diverse society and all that it offers and ultimately go on to playing a positive role to said society in the future.
